French 75
Ingredients (per glass):
• 1 oz (30ml) Cognac
• 1/2 oz (15ml) fresh lemon juice
• 1/2 oz (15ml) simple syrup (1:1 sugar & water)
• 3 oz (90ml) Champagne (or other dry sparkling wine), chilled
• Lemon twist, for garnish
Method:
1. Add cognac, lemon juice and syrup into a cocktail shaker with ice
2. Shake until chilled
3. Strain into a chilled champagne flute
4. Top with chilled champagne
